Call To Action is now taking submissions for the 2016 conference to be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from November 11-13.

This is an exciting time for Call To Action as it boldly looks to the horizon. Even though I’m stepping out of the Executive Director role, I will remain a devoted member of the Call To Action community.

This 6 week mini-course will provide participants an overview of the main themes and considerations involved in church reform today. It will include treatment of the historical, biblical/scriptural, theological/ethical, ecclesial, and spiritual/pastoral dimensions of church justice.

Creating Change, a national LBGTQ conference, is being held in Chicago January 21-24, 2016.  Equally Blessed is an exhibitor and needs volunteers to help staff the table.

Aaron Bianco, Call To Action's Program Outreach Associate, was in Rome this past fall for the Synod on the Family. Aaron was able to meet with 11 bishops and dialogue with them directly about the myriad of family issues and challenges facing diverse families in the Catholic Church.

Call To Action will continue to undergo a strategic re-visioning and planning process in 2016.

Call To Action invites you to come, hear, and discuss the presentation, "The Culture of Encounter, Pope Francis and the Synod on the Family" by staff member Aaron Bianco.

Tim will focus on his efforts towards structural reform first as a pastor and later during ten years of voluntary exile. He will frame this crisis in terms of justice/injustice and a glaring lack of prophetic leadership, and address the reasons why more priests don’t speak up.
