This August, Call To Action sent two representatives to the Asian Youth Academy and Asian Theological Forum in Surat Thani, Thailand. Participants viewed the film Radical Grace, about three inspiring women religious in the US. Dr. Paul Hwang of the Woori Theology Institute in South Korea organized the conference, which brings young adult lay leaders and theologians together from all over Asia.

Sr. Helen Prejean spoke to the Fellowship of Reconciliation Cape Cod chapter along with Call To Action Cape Cod on May 23, 2016. Sr. Helen is a leading anti-death penalty advocate and is best known for her book, Dead Man Walking.

“I have been ordained by the spirit of God to celebrate the liturgy of life. I am telling you that now because that has been a metaphor that has defined me and given me permission to stay in the space I’m in and let me evolve as spirit leads me in this framework.”

Rosa (who is featured in this video) is a Call To Action supporter and member of the Call To Action Vision Council.

In a short documentary released online earlier this month, LGBT Catholics and their loved ones spoke proudly of their families and their Catholicism.
