In November of 2019 we came together to experience life on the margins at the border in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. That time in McAllen was a deeply moving and insightful experience that inspired and moved us to explore doing more in response to that call to action that all of us as Catholics have to honor the dignity of all humans and to welcome the stranger.

In the year since we last convened, much has happened including a global pandemic that has only further exacerbated life on the margins at the border and a deeply polarized election season that has not only chosen a president but impacted key Senate races which will be critical in formulating future immigration policy. In this atmosphere we have decided to reconvene virtually. Join us to get a pulse on what’s happening on the border now and to explore what the future may hold for a comprehensive immigration policy that honors the dignity of each person.
