Introducing Summer Intern Emma Calkins

Call To Action is thrilled to welcome Emma Calkins to the team as our summer Intern for Development and Chicago! Beginning at the end of June, Emma will divide her time between national development and Chicago-based work, likely on the People’s History of Vatican II project.

Emma is from Chicago and is currently in her second year as an undergrad at the University of Chicago. She is pursuing a B.A. in Philosophy and Anthropology. She is a member of the choir at her home church, St. Celestine, and while on campus, she works at Calvert House Catholic Center. She is very excited to be a part of the CTA team for the summer and work towards enacting social justice in the Church and beyond!
