"Founding Generation" celebrated in Chicago

On a rainy Sunday in Chicago, nearly 200 people gathered in a historic ballroom in the suburbs of Chicago. Together they sang, reminisced and celebrated the decades of work they've done for our Church.

Before we were a national organization with a staff and chapters all over the United States, Call To Action was a Chicago based group of Catholics passionate about social justice, Vatican II and community. Many of those early leaders gathered for the celebration, and were joined by others who've become a part of this movement more recently.

The event also paid tribute to Bob Heineman. As both a staff member and volunteer leader over the past decades, Bob has been an inspiring and committed leader in the work of building the Church we believe in.

Watch video and see pictures of the wonderful celebration here and be sure to join us at Conference to continue celebrating the legacy and building the future!
