We, as Catholics in the United States, call on others in Catholic leadership to disavow Dolan's unholy alliance with Trump, and to take further action to provide sanctuary.

With the recent deaths at our southern border, reports about the horrifying conditions inside multiple U.S. government immigration facilities, and the deplorable actions of many border patrol and ICE agents, we at Call To Action believe that this is a time that Catholic Social Teaching calls all Catholics to stand in solidarity with immigrants.

The national Catholic group Call To Action worked behind the scenes and helped finance the gathering as part of its own anti-racism initiative. Zachary Johnson, Call To Action's executive director, was encouraged that laypeople took the lead in organizing and promoting the event.

This Sunday, join us in letting Wendy's know that farmworkers and consumers will not tolerate the fast food chain's blatant disregard for farmworkers' human rights, and the boycott will only grow stronger the longer they hold out.

The Alliance for Fair Foods is organizing a boycott of Wendy's and encouraging people to stop eating at Wendy's, write a letter to their local Wendy's, and picket in front of Wendy's as well as spreading the story in social media.
