What Does It Mean to Live in a Binary World?

On February 28, Faith Communities of Baltimore with Pride will host a virtual educational event on gender identity. Titled “Being Non-Binary in a Binary World,” the event will feature a non-binary storyteller who will share their experiences as well as several videos on non-binary gender identity. There will be time for discussion and fellowship among attendees.

“Being Non-Binary in a Binary World” is co-sponsored by the CTA Maryland chapter, a member of Faith Communities of Baltimore with Pride. FCBWP began 10 years ago after the Archdiocese of Baltimore refused to walk in the annual Pride parade. CTA Maryland formed the group with several other faith communities and Catholic parishes in the area. Over the last decade, FCBWP has grown from eight faith-based communities to more than 50 members.

This event will begin at 7 p.m. ET. While the event is free and open to the public, registration is required. To register and receive the Zoom link, please email Ryan Sattler: ryansattler@comcast.net.
