We will not be whole until women's leadership gifts flourish equally in our Church with those of men.

This site contains educational, advocacy, and organizational materials for launching the dialogue in your area. Please pay special attention to the "How to Start a Women's Equality Witness" page. It provides valuable ideas about where to start (or continue!) the conversation in your diocese.

The following items are also available by sending for a printed packet. For more information or help, contact Christine Schenk of FutureChurch, at 216-228-0869 or visit the FutureChurch website

A joint project of Call to Action and FutureChurch

Celebrating Women Witnesses, FutureChurch's newest resource packet, contains essays and prayer services about twelve historic women of faith: Mary of Nazareth, Prisca, Clare of Assisi, Thea Bowman, Angela Merici, Dorothy Day, Catherine of Siena, Julian of Norwich, Therese of Lisieux, Teresa of Avila, Sor Juana, and the Beguines, a medieval women's movement.

The packet also contains brochures on women in the lectionary, lay preaching, a holy week prayer service highlighting Jesus' women disciples and suggestions for how to make sure parishes use newly approved lectionary texts instead of ones which take for granted the subordination of women.
