CTA conference will enjoy all-new Milwaukee convention site
CTA National Conference attendees in 1998 are in for a treat. The site will be the brand new, state-of-the-art $170 million Midwest Express Convention Center in downtown Milwaukee. Scheduled for its grand opening in late July and host to the prestigious National Governors' Conference in early August, the Center will roll out the red carpet to CTA and its friends the weekend of Oct. 30 - Nov. 1, 1998.

The bright, ultra-modern facility features a marvelous ballroom and dozens of meeting rooms in close proximity. The Center is specially designed for easy access. Three major hotels are literally next door. Besides its friendly atmosphere and compact size, downtown Milwaukee boasts excellent food at moderate prices. The new $11 million RiverWalk nearby, lined with restaurants and pubs, is becoming the city's signature district. Mitchell International Airport is just 15 minutes away.

In choosing the Milwaukee convention site, CTA is in good company. The National Catholic Education Association has already selected Milwaukee for its 10,000 conferees in spring, 2001. CTA has secured the Milwaukee facilities for the next three years (Nov. 5-7, 1999 and Nov. 3-5, 2000), assuring our members of an attractive, flexible venue for our 1999 and 2000 gatherings to greet the new millennium and celebrate Jubilee.
