Order CTA theatre scripts

Scripts of five long-running musical dramas from CTA Performing Arts Ministry (1986-1995) are available for $5.00 per copy plus postage. The shows are:

All That I Am - This hour long journey through 2,000 years is a dramatic tribute to six of the countless unnamed women of church history. Their experiences with patriarchy offer powerful testimony to their wisdom and strength and that of "many others like you" who face the struggles of their time with love, faith and hope for the future.

Earth Awakening - This dramatic, musical hour is the ideal creation spirituality recipe: one part fact, one part retreat, one part challenge and one part party. Drawing from an eclectic mix of sources the play asserts that we borrow all we have and are, and are called to join creatively in the exchange.

Earth Magic & Me - The performance was created for grade school audiences, with music, storytelling, magic, audience participation and a 40-page educator's packet. A musical journey from the Big Bang to the Industrial Revolution and into The Future is narrated by "Magic" and "Earth." Together they encourage "Me" to recognize that all three are part of a shared story.

Between the Times: The Church and the U.S. Economy - A provocative theatrical event filled with music, story, drama and song based on Catholic social teaching. Since its debut in 1985 it has toured coast to coast with its message of economic justice for all. Themes: justice in the church and society, economic justice, the feminization of poverty, the homeless, and responsibilities of the church and its people in the marketplace of the 1990s.

Peace*Works - A vibrant musical drama with audience interaction celebrating peace, God's promise and our response. Peace*Works premiered at the Pax Christi USA National Convention (1988). Themes: Peace, justice, love, non-violence, concern for the environment, Central America, the Sermon on the Mount, and the feminine face of God.
