The torch is passed
For me the loveliest thing about the Eucharist was to see a little boy who looked between two and three run up to the stage to be with his daddy, a participant. He was up there for a while and ended up part of the recessional. It was simply beautiful. The presence of so many younger people puts the lie to the statement that this is only a movement of old folks like me (I am now 54). Our dream and the dream of those at Vatican II will live on, and I got to see the torch being passed in person!
