Women and Eucharist
The conference was a life-giving celebration. I appreciated the networking especially with women Eucharist as we are starting to do liturgies in small faith communities here now. We live in a transitional time pregnant with grace for spiritual growth and community-building. It was wonderful to learn that there are 1,000 such groups around the country. People in our group were very interested in more sessions that would nurture this new form of celebrating Christ's presence in our midst.

Liturgy and Tissa
The closing liturgy lacked some spark this year. I am not sure if I feel that way because you did something different, or if I have changed in what I find uplifting. Perhaps it is time to consider a cluster of smaller liturgies at the closing time with various themes; creation spirituality, women spirituality, youth, etc. Congratulations on a job wonderfully done. Getting Fr. Tissa was a wonderful idea, also. He is a truly brilliant and generous man. Those who missed him missed something very special.

Listen to young adults
There were 300 under 35 this year; some will say this is not impressive, but the visibility difference made it clear that it's a big improvement over last year. We need to seek out those we know, teens and young adults, to encourage them to join and be active on a local or regional level. As Michael Crosby pointed out, we can't demand that they take on our issues. We need to listen to their issues and demands and pain and questions; some will be different, or the same with different slants, and we need to support them as we hope they'll support us. Each person attending next year's conference should get one person 35 or younger to attend.

Highlight was the folks
Although I attended some good "sessions", I was most inspired and formed by conversations and mealtimes shared with friends, both old and new. I am completely in awe and eternally grateful for the gift of church, in particular that part of the church which is CTA folks.
