Aug. 15 the CTA national staff moved its entire headquarters to this newly purchased street-level commercial space in a modern condo building about a mile closer to downtown Chicago. It is the first time CTA has owned a building, after nearly 20 years renting space in an empty rectory, a former Catholic high school, and an empty convent.
