Special Airline Discount

Call To Action has made special ticket arrangements with Milwaukee-based Midwest Airlines, noted for awardwinning service and two-across seating. Booking with Midwest Airlines you can receive a 10% discount off any available published fare (provided all fare restrictions are met) OR a 15% discount off tickets if you purchase them 60 days or more prior to travel (excluding these fare types: Group, Student, Senior Citizen, VUSA, Introductory, Tour and unpublished fares. Discount certificates, coupons and companion offers may not be used with the convention discount.) For reservations, call Midwest at (800) 452-2022, purchase online at www.midwestexpress.com/conventions or contact your travel agent. To get either discount for Midwest Airlines you need to mention the code CMZ 1506. Most other airlines also serve Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport. Shop around for the best deal; ask about special discounts (e.g. for seniors or companions); and check fares for flights to Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. Register online

Group Discounts on Other Airlines
If you have a group of 10 or more people attending the conference from your area, many airlines are willing to offer a group discount. All of your group must travel on the same flight both ways. You may contact the airlines yourself or, if you wish to have a Call To Action representative make these arrangements for you, please call the national Call To Action office at (773) 404-0004. ext. 260.

Travel from the airports
Shuttles (every 15 minutes; $10; 414-769-2444) and taxis are available from Milwaukee’s airport to nearby downtown hotels. If you are flying into Chicago’s O’Hare or Midway Airports, there are shuttles leaving hourly to downtown Milwaukee, (2 1/4 hours, $21; or 3 1/4 hours, $37, respectively; 877-324-7767; www.wisconsincoach.com).

Train or Bus Travel
Amtrak and Greyhound each have stations in downtown Milwaukee. The Greyhound station is three blocks away and the Amtrak station is five blocks away from most hotels and the convention center.

Bargain Bus to Milwaukee from Chicago, other cities
Megabus.com now has a low-cost, daily, non-stop express bus service between Chicago and Milwaukee. (The company also has the same type of service between Chicago and seven other Midwest cities: Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis, Minneapolis and St. Louis.) The buses leave from Union Station in Chicago and arrive at Milwaukee’s Union Station, four blocks from the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. Schedule information, fares and ticket purchase are solely on the Internet at www.megabus.com Some who buy early can get tickets for as low as $1. Each megabus.com trip provides a limited number of seats at the $1 rate. Other seats are competitively priced.

Getting Around at the Conference
