CALL TO ACTION BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Call To Action Board of Directors has determined to move toward a more inclusive process for nomination and selection of new Board members. We are inviting current Call To Action members to nominate candidates for consideration in future Board selection processes. Click here to download nomination form in pdf format. Deadline is March 27, 2008. Board members will be selected in relation to the following criteria, although it is understood that no one person will likely fulfill all criteria:

Candidates that embrace the Call To Action agenda (e.g., the Anti-racism initiative, NextGen activities, the JustChurch project)

Candidates that move forward the Board’s goal of greater diversity, giving priority to 1) persons of color, 2) persons from within the NextGen profile, 3) persons from the GLBT community

Candidates that bring specific skills/expertise to Board work: fund-raising, finances, communications, public relations, or theology

Candidates who are committed to the work of anti-racism and active non-violence (e.g., principles and strategies of Christian non-violence) and are willing to be transformed by this commitment

Candidates who are comfortable dealing with media (television/radio/print)
