New organizing energy in Madison, other CTA regions
CTA members in Madison, Wis., met July 21 to lay the groundwork for a new CTA
regional chapter. Traveling in to support the process was the national CTA board's
regional organizer, Lena Woltering (front row, third from left). Photo by Jim

After an article about regional organizing in July ChurchWatch, Woltering reports new energies stirring in Duluth, Minn., Sacramento, Calif., and Helena, Mont. At CTA News press time she was traveling to meet with some 20 CTAers from across Alabama. The article also invited regions to organize lay synods. On this topic Woltering got inquiries and had long teleconferences with CTAers in Oakland, Calif., Lafayette, La., and St. Paul, Minn.
Woltering will lead two workshops at the November conference on how to “Organize a Lay Synod” and establish a legitimate progressive presence in your diocese. You can also contact her at FOSILIZE@aol.com or 260 432-3661.
